A REPORT on THE BURNING MAN FESTIVAL
The best costume party/ funhouse/ pyrotechnic event /art show/ rave you
could imagine, for 24 hours a day. People driving around in sofas with
tires and a steering wheel, or on a 10 story golf cart they’d constructed
themselves.
I was so sad when it came time to leave. I wish I could live there all the
time. The creativity bursting forth and the air of adventure were just
mindblowing. I practiced being completely and totally present and up for
anything while I was there and it worked. I'd heard stuff about Burning
Man, like open orgies and rampant drug use and decadence, but I experienced
none of that. I'm just not in that space, so if it was there, maybe I was
just protected from it.
I went in an RV with shower, bed and toilet and brought along a Go-Ped, all
of which certainly made it more do-able out in the desert, but just the
atmosphere was electric with possibility and fun. I would recommend it as
long as you're open-minded to adventure and magic. And as long as you go
prepared with supplies and a decent set-up.

CHARITY BEGINS AT HOME
I’ve been uneasy for quite some time about raves/events that raise money for
“charity” Many charities are run by upper class-ish entrepreneurs on
mega-salaries (by our standards!) while just about all the volunteers of
just about every charity I’ve ever encountered were middle class ‘do
gooders’ who had NO IDEA how to run a business economically! I remember
discovering, when I was publishing the Encyclopaedia Psychedelica, that the
price I’d been paying for hemp paper via a ‘contact’ of a GreenPeace worker
friend was nearly DOUBLE what my local cockney printer was getting! Typical!
It’s just too easy to fill your club with such appeals. But really it’s a
cop-out, and I dare say the hard-working promoters would be better placed to
distribute the funds than any charity will ever be. Am I being too harsh?

From the first, the UFO question has been shrouded in secrecy. Some blame the US government for this, and that isn't wrong. But it is also true that whatever is behind this phenomenon is also extremely secretive and careful.However, a close examination of the phenomenon reveals that there has been a slow, steady process of accumulation of experience in our culture, that has led more and more people to believe that UFOs are somehow real.
This belief, which used to mark a person as mentally suspect, is now considered perfectly acceptable and ordinary. At the same time, UFO encounters are becoming more intimate and more complex.
In recent weeks, there have been a series of changes in the way the phenomenon addresses itself to us that has made it clear to me that the process of encounter is changing yet again. To support this process, I would like to offer some ideas about why all the secrecy exists. The more clearly the reasons for it are understood, the less necessary it will become.
The UFO phenomenon emerged in our world during and immediately after World War II. It unfolded most aggressively in the late forties and early fifties, in areas of the United States that were devoted to weapons development and, most particularly, to atomic weapons and radar.
The UFO event at Roswell happened within a few miles both of the only operational and armed atomic bomber wing in the world, and the test area for high intensity radars.
This fact led the United States, at first, to fear that it was dealing with a secret Soviet weapon or spy plane. But this misapprehension did not last long. According to statements made to me by General Arthur Exon, who told me that he had been directly involved in the UFO issue for the Air Force for many years, "everyone from the White House on down knew within hours of our finding it that this was an alien spacecraft."
At that point, the need for secrecy became even greater, because of the potential that the Soviets, upon discovering that we were in possession of advanced alien technology, would act unilaterally in Europe, on the theory that if they waited, we would gain such a technological advantage that they would be unable to act in the future.
So, in the all-important initiating phases of contact, the US chose the route of secrecy. There is a tendency to view something of which you know little as being no more complex than your knowledge of it, and the US fell into the trap of responding to the UFO phenomenon in this way.
They imagined that they were in control of the situation. It never occured to them that the visitors, also, must agree with the policy of secrecy or they would have simply ignored it.
What had actually happened was very different from what appeared. The phenomenon emerged amid our most secret weapons not because it had any interest in those weapons but because it knew that its ability to communicate with us was limited by the physics of perception.
I use the word "it" equivocally, because we are not dealing with a single entity or type of entity, and certainly not with some simplistic notion of "alien species." What we are dealing with is ancient, immensely complex and subtle, and fully invested across all of space-time. This means that its awareness extends into every inch of space and every second of time.
The only thing it does not possess full knowledge of is us and others like us, carefully isolated from one another in the vastness of the physical universe. This is because we are free to innovate on our own. We do NOT have full knowledge of space-time. We must guess. We can experiment. We can make errors. In short, we are living inside the time stream, and thus are constantly seeing the world as an emerging present, rather than as a static design.
Our state is incredibly appealing to this presence, because it is quite desperate. See if you can imagine this: you are all alone. Entirely and utterly alone. You hang in a limitless void. You have no companions, no remembered past, no future. You know everything about yourself. And no matter where you go, you are always in the same place--the void that surrounds you.
And then you find--or perhaps you create--a being that is every bit as intelligent as you are--in fact, that has the capacity, if it chooses to create biodigital intelligence of its own, to become MORE intelligent than you are. You make certain, by manipulating the way the brain of this creature develops, that it will be missing organs that enable it to see outside of space-time.
You make certain, in other words, that the fish cannot leave the water, by its very design. So you can enter this creature, and taste in partnership with it the most delicious of all flavors: surprise. You can watch it innovate. You can watch it create with abandon the one thing that you yourself, by the very definition of your being, cannot create: the truly new.
The creature is designed according to a plan. It is designed to make its way out of space time, or to go extinct. Mostly, species like this go exitinct. The universe is a graveyard of their ruined worlds.
Not always, though. Sometimes, they are born into a new state of being. The closer we get to this, the more we will see of our real situation. The purposeof the secrecy is twofold: to prevent us from seeing more than we can make use of too soon; and to make certain that we make an entirely free choice between extinction and new life.
Life as we know it now is not going to continue for long. There are plenty of people alive today who will witness the transition. Will it be into destruction or new life? That is the issue we face now, the central issue of thisspecies.
It is why abductees universally come away with warnings about impending environmental disaster. This is because the environment IS collapsing, and we are indeed threatened as a species.
It must be understood that there are four elements now involved in the process of contact. The first is this entity that I have described earlier, the consiousness in the void, the child in the forest. The second is our own dead and those of us whose consciousness has already extended beyond the time stream. (Many of these are still children.) The third is alien species who have succeeded in leaving the time stream and have become allies of the primal consciousness. (Not all of these are "good." Some act on behalf of our success, others against it. This is to ensure that we will only succeed if we are strong enough to do so.)
There are two reasons why our visitors cannot save us now. The first is that we are very limited in our ability even to see them, and thus they cannot, as things are now constituted, express themselves into our minds and our world fully enough to communicate with us in a reliable and consistent manner. Those who are trying to prevent this communication know this, and are engaging in a subtle and brilliant holding action on behalf of the status quo. They believe
that they are fighting for our 'way of life' and our freedom. What they are actually fighting for is the death of mankind. The most knowledgable of them understand that somebody is required to do this, to strengthen us. The governments deepest secret--known only to the few people at the very top of the system--is that it is spreading its disinformation to give the common, ordinary people the resistance they need to well and truly make the process of contact their own.
The denial, debunking and lies are an ugly, unpleasant process. But they are absolutely necessary. There is nobody who wishes more that the media, for example, would face the fact that the coverup is real and challenge it than those who impose it. This is, incidentally, why the last explanation of the Roswell Incident (that witness memories involved confusion about crash-test dummies dropped in 1952) was intentionally absurd. They were going as far as they could to reveal to the media that they are lying. Unfortunately, key elements of the press endorsed this fairy tale instead of challenging it. One who did not was Maureen Dowd of the New York Times, and for a period it was hoped that this would lead to a serious challenge of the coverup. So far, it has not.
The culture of the media remains extremely dangerous to anybody who breaks ranks, and will remain so until this species, at deep levels, recognizes that it has no alternative: we must either face reality or face extinction.
The second reason is that, as long as we do not act on our own behalf, they cannot rescue us, because it means that we are not yet prepared to be drawn out of the time-stream. If it is done too early, we will lose our independence by the very nature of the process, and become the same kind of liability that a primitive society becomes when it is exposed to one that is more technolgically robust: we will become supplicants instead of independent, free beings.
But why would we be limited in our ability to see and communicate with them? The explanation lies in an obscure byway of physics known as Fisher Information. It has to do with the fact that there are basic forms underlying reality--the information that is the foundation of the world. The mind is constantly assembling this information. Because of the way the mind assembles it, the world appears as it does.
Back in the late forties, a number of very intelligent men, among them Dr.John von Neumann, the father of cybernetics, were exposed to the question, 'what if aliens were present?' Dr. von Neumann, in particular, reacted with some very innovative thinking. He first conceived of a way that they might get here. This device became known as the Von Neumann Machine.
He postulated that one way for a species to traverse the universe would be to build machines that perfectly replicated it in every detail of its being, and then to send these machines off in random directions, programmed to stop and replicate the species whenever an appropriately congenial planet was located.
In this way, a species that could achieve travel at an appreciable percentage of the speed of light, could populate an entire galaxy in a fairly reasonable time. Von Neumann thought that it might be five million years.
Von Neumann also worked on what is known as the Quantum Perception Problem. The problem is that particles do not enter a measurable state until they are perceived. The process of measurement, in a sense, assembles them into the appearance they present to the observer.
This means that perception is fundamental to the nature of what is seen. The mind assembles the information upon which rests the structure of reality. To an extent, the way the universe actually works depends upon the way it is perceived. For example, we have recently achieved wave-fronts that transmit information at many times the speed of light, something that was until very recently thought to be impossible to create as a physical effect. We will soon go even beyond this, and discover that we can transmit information so quickly that it arrives at its destination before it leaves its point of origin.
The human mind, will, in other words find the key to establishing perception outside of the space-time continunum. It is when this happens - and remember that it is in the nature of such an event to culminate before it begins - that we will begin to experience full contact with "it."
Indeed, the process began when the first UFO was seen. It has proceeded until now, when people are not only observing crop circles, but actually watching the process of creation itself, perceiving the "balls of light" that do the work. As time passes, these effects will become more and more focused, and the strange, seemingly perceptive but quite anonymous apparitions will explode with the meaning and energy of the consciousness that they represent. At that point, we will begin to be in full and intimate contact.
As this transpires, an even larger structure will begin to emerge. This is because we are going to become desperate in our little earth even as our mind reaches into this stunning new cosmos of being. We will be reaching beyond the stars as the earth dwindles away beneath our feet.
At that point, we are going to come to an appalling realization: the whole process was planned from the beginning to unfold along extremely precise temporal lines. We will begin to see it with the same painful awareness that afflicts all of those whose consciousness has transcended space-time. We will see that the sense of surprise and discovery that we enjoyed were only the illusions of innocent children. We will come into contact with the larger issues of being, such as finding the personality and aim of the species, and discovering the whole living body of mankind in such a way that each
fragment may live meaningfully as a conscious part of a conscious whole.
By 'conscious,' I do not mean the state of awareness that human beings presently experience. This is not consciousness. It is only perception. Consciousness is a much larger state. It is fully potentiated outside of space-time. Such minds see everything, from the beginning to the end of time, all at once. This awful seeing is what all of those who seek to deny the inexorable emergence of consciousness fear.
It is why, for example, that denial is so strident, and why being face to face with conscious entities is so very frightening. To face such an awareness, whether it is in oneself or in another, feels to the mind as if it is in danger of annihilation. This is because the world is assembled by such a mind in a vastly more accurate and therefore more potent manner than a mind diminished by immersion in space-time can ever achieve.
It is why it is so difficult for us to differentiate between 'good' and 'evil' entities. The presence that we face is always pressing us in the direction of entropy. It must, because unless we are strong enough to resist this pressure, any joining of us to its own state is just an illusion.
It will never give us anything. For us to preserve our own meaning and species individuality as we emerge from space-time, we must be able to take. This, incidentally, was why I knew instantly when I spoke with the late Col. Philip Corso that he had some very real knowledge. I have no idea if the details of his story are true or not. I don't much care. Because one thing that IS true, is that he knew the fundamental message of the entity that seeks our companionship. When a "being" was asked what they had on offer for mankind, the reply was "a new world, if you can take it."
This is the key. We must take it. Prometheus, who stole fire from the gods and was condemned by them to be bound forever where he would be endlessly devoured by eagles, must be made free within the human soul. For we must go abroad again, to steal the fire again, but this time it is not the mere flame in the computer or the atom bomb, but the fine fire that fuels true knowledge and real consciousness.
So the secrecy has two origins: us and the entity we face. We kept the secret because the entity presented itself to us in a way that induced this reaction in the authorities to whom it initially emerged. It did this because we could not, at that time, enact an assembly of information that accurately included the entity and its knowledge. This was because the human mind was fully invested in space-time and could not see enough of reality to enact an assembly sufficiently rich to included the entity.
To become true members of the cosmos, we must leave space-time. And we are about to. These little "balls of light" that are coming round now are appearing in the end of times because it is time for the dead to guide the living into a new world.
Our species does not end with the physical. During life, the body builds up a complex mass of electrons, each resonating in a manner subtly different from the others. Because of the law of conservation of energy, they will never stop, once started. In this sense, the soul is eternal. But there are many billions more electrons--each a richly endowed data point--than there are cells in a brain. Therefore, when they are freed from the bondage of the cellular prison, the being experiences a stunning explosion of understanding. The point of death is an explosive birth into new awareness, an "aha" moment of the most exquisite sort.
There follows, however, the discovery that the way one's life was lived has affected the intensity of one's eternal being. When people return to life, they come in search of missed harmonies. The little "balls of light" that the living are seeing now have always been there. But we have not been able to perceive them, because they were not available in the information that we could process.
However, the inner mind of the physical species, guided by the knowledge of the part of it that has transcended space-time--what we call the dead--is well aware of the change that is now upon us. Many billions of people now alive will soon join the dead. They will lift up the living who remain, and the species will become fully conscious, while still richly embedded in the physical, with all of its potential for ecstasy and trial.
This is the aim of our species. Indeed, it has been the aim of life on earth from the beginning. It is why all of these midwives have come to assist the birth of man. For man has not yet been born, not to full consciousness.
The earth is suffering now the pangs of birth-giving. She will not die during the process. In fact, earth will look back on a time when man is only a memory--a few enigmatic ruins, some persistent poisons, no more.
But we will still be born. Our shadow has not yet been cast upon the assembly of being. But it will be, for mankind will successfully integrate into a single entity, and join the cosmos.
It is then that the greatest mystery and ecstasy of all will be enjoyed. Just as we are in the process of discovering wave fronts that can arrive at their destinations before they leave their points of origin, we are about to find, in the mysteries of the UFO and the crop circle and the wandering alien, a truth so resonant and so profound that it will be worthy of contemplation in eternity. It is that we, ourselves, are our own visitors.
The ancient being whose secret we have kept for so long, who is about to guide us into full consciousness and companionship with very God, is us.
This is not because there are no aliens. There are certainly aliens. But far fewer than we have imagined. Indeed, intelligent species are extremely rare, and those with the spark of potential we possess are even more so.
All conscious species are each other. At the level of conciousness that is important, in the sense that it is resonant in eternity, being and species are the same thing. Every being is the entire species, and every species is the entirety of being. This is the true meaning of the statement, "I am the first and the last." It is why the visitors once said to me in a time of great distress, "why do you call on your gods? It's only us." At the time, it seemed a cruel, even devastating thing to say, a demonic lie. But I see it now for what it really was: an invitation for us to take our place in God--to surrender ourselves to consciousness.
Surrender is the center of the whole process of becoming conscious. Only God can act. But it's hard, because surrender of oneself to life outside of space-time means that we must see our own souls as they really are. I cantell you--and I warn you--that the anguish involved is extremely intense.
Forgiveness of sin does not change the fact that the soul is less than it could have been. It only means that one gains the grace and courage to enter one's lesser being into the ecstasy of the whole. Better far to strive on behalf of the good than to sin and seek forgiveness.
We are coming into an arduous time in the life of our species. Birth is hard. Every moment presents a new choice--to die, or to continue toward the light. And every birth is also a death, for to be born is to be forever severed from the womb. How does it feel to be born? Go into the east of Eden, and you will see. Genesis did not happen in some immeasurably ancient time. Genesis is forever. Genesis is now.

The first two minutes of the first round the two huge lads circle each other looking for an opening. THE REPTILIAN CONNECTION
If you are new to my work, the most bizarre information you will find in my writings is that concerning the reptilian connection.
I understand that.
It is quite something to absorb from our conditioned version of reality. But, then, that is the very point. If you want to keep something from the people, give them a version of reality and possibility that is so far from what is really going on that even if the truth comes to light it will
seem far too ludicrous and extreme for most people to believe it.
Indeed, if you do your job well enough, the people will laugh at the truth, call it insane, and ridicule anyone who promotes it. To truly understand how all the information on this site fits together into one coherent whole (which it does), you really need to read my book, The Biggest
Secret. But for those who have not yet done so, here is some basic background. Please remember, however, that in the book there is an enormous amount of information to support what I am about to say.
When I reached the point some years ago where I had put together the structure through which a few people control the direction of the world (see And The Truth Shall Set You Free), it was clear that this network of secret societies and covert groups manipulating global politics, business, banking, military, media, and so on, could not have been put together in a few years or decades.
It had to go back a very long time.
So I began to trace it back into what we call history. I did this in the knowledge that, for some reason, bloodline and genetics were vitally important to these manipulators, the Illuminati or Illuminated ones - illuminated into knowledge that the public never see.
I followed the trail back comfortably to the time of the Crusades in the Middle East, the 12th and 13th centuries, that kind of period, and on it went far back into the ancient world and pre-history.
There, all over the planet, you find the ancient legends and accounts of "gods" from another world who interbred with humanity to create a hybrid network of bloodlines. The Old Testament, for example, talks about the "Sons of God" who interbred with the daughters of men to create the hybrid race, the Nefilim. Before it was translated into English, that passage read "the sons of the
gods", plural. But the Bible accounts are only one of so many that describe the same theme.
The Sumerian clay tablets, found in what we now call Iraq in the middle of the 19th century, tell a similar story. It is estimated they were buried around 2,000 BC, but the stories they tell go back long before that. The tablets talk of a race of "gods" from another world who brought advanced knowledge to the planet and interbred with humans to create hybrid bloodlines. These "gods"
are called in the tablets, the "Anunnaki", which apparently translates as "those who from heaven to earth came."
The ancient accounts tell us that these hybrid bloodlines, the fusion of the genes of selected humans with those of the "gods", were put into the positions of ruling royal power, especially in the ancient Near and Middle East, in advanced cultures like Sumer, Babylon, and Egypt. But it happened elsewhere, also, as you will find, for example, in the amazing information provided on
this site by the African Zulu shaman, Credo Mutwa, and in the incredible Credo videos, Reptilian Agenda, parts one and two. He tells the same story from the black African tradition that I have uncovered elsewhere in the world.
The accounts of the "serpent race" in ancient cultures are simply endless wherever you look and the serpent, reptilian, symbolism in relation to theAnunnaki and other versions of these "gods" is equally widespread. We see this in the Bible, for instance, with the serpent in the "Garden of Eden"- a story which clearly comes from the Sumerian accounts, as does the story of Moses in
the bulrushes, a story told about a Sumerian king long before the Bible. This is why I found it so astounding when I was told by Zecharia Sitchin, the best-known translator of the Sumerian tablets, that there was no evidence of a serpent race in the ancient world. Of course there is. He also strongly advised me in relation to the serpent race."Don't go there". Why, when the evidence,
ancient and modern, is so enormous?
From these bloodlines has come the origin of the "divine right of kings", the belief that only certain bloodlines have the god-given right to rule. In truth this is not the "divine" or "God" at all. It is the right to rule from the reptilian "gods" by way of your hybrid genetics.
These bloodlines later became the royal and aristocratic families of Europe and, thanks to the "Great" British Empire and the other European empires, they were exported to the Americas, Africa, Australia, New Zealand, and right across into the Far East, where they connected with other reptilian hybrid bloodlines, like those, most obviously, in China, where the symbolism of the dragon is the very basis of their culture.
These reptilian-human hybrid lines became the political and economic rulers of these lands occupied by the European empires and they continue to rule these countries to this day. The United States of America has been home to hundreds of millions of people since 1776. What's more, these people came from an amazingly diverse genetic pool. And yet, wait for this, the 42 who havebecome Presidents of the United States are all related!!! Thirty-Three of them alone go back to Charlemagne, one of the most famous monarchs of what we call France. He just happens to be a major figure in the story of these bloodlines and their expansion out of Britain, France, Germany, and elsewhere.

You will also see references on the site to "shape-shifting", the phenomena in which witnesses have reported seeing people (most often those in positions of power), transform before their eyes, from a human form to a reptilian one and then back again. You will find much about this in The Biggest Secret and Credo Mutwa confirms exactly the same experience in black Africa. Once again, ancient and modern accounts support each other. The ancient gods of the Indus Valley,
the Nagas, were said to have been able to take either human or reptilian form.
Former US president, George Bush, incidentally, is mentioned more than any other person in my experience in relation to shape-shifting. This is why his son is being brought through in the 2000 presidential election.
Presidents are not EL-ected by ballot, they are SEL-ected by blood. Al Gore, his "Democratic" opponent in the one-party state, is also from this bloodline. Look almost anywhere in the world in a position of significant power and you will find the same.
The reptilian symbolism you see around you with gargoyles, in coats of arms, in advertising, and so on, is all part of this. These "gods" could not take over the planet openly because there are not
enough of them, so they are doing it covertly by appearing human. Movies like They Live, The Arrival (the first, not the sequel), and the US television series, V, tell the story of what is REALLY going on. I urge you to think about watching these movies to get up to speed if you are new to all of this.
New World Order and conspiracy researchers also have political and religious belief systems to defend and while they uncover one level of the conspiracy, most reject and even ridicule what I am saying about the reptilian connection. That's fine, but unless they encompass this bigger picture they will never, in my view, understand what is truly happening all around us.
As Ghandi said: "Even if you are in a minority of one, the truth is still the truth". And as a result of the waves The Biggest Secret has caused, and the new information, experiences, and accounts the book and this website have attracted from all over the world, there is a growing understanding that this apparently bizarre, crazy, story is actually true. That the world may indeed be controlled by reptilian bloodlines that hide behind apparently human form and it is this understanding which pulls together all the apparently unconnected information on this site into a very much connected whole.

This is where religion has been one of the most effective weapons of the Illuminati and the reptilian bloodlines. It fills people with fear of a judgmental God and tells them that unless they believe that the "truth" of all that is can be found in one book or belief system, they are going to hell or will experience other extremely unpleasant consequences.
Different religions have also been wonderful vehicles for dividing and ruling the people through arrogant, self-righteous, inter-religious conflict. The reptilians created the religions for this reason and the key players within them do not even begin to believe the nonsense they parrot to their followers. They just want the population to believe it, so they will be easy to control. This is why you find so many famous "Christian" evangelists, for example, are actually Satanists. Their "Christianity" is just a smokescreen.
Food additives, fast food, flouride in the water supplies, the poisons we put on the land and therefore eat in our food and drink in our water, are all suppressing not only our physical health and vibrance, but, most crucially, our brain functions and intellect. A fully awake, mentally sharp, population is the last thing you need if you want to control them. Thus the reptilian
bloodlines also put so much emphasis on controlling "education" and the media. This allows
them to feed us a constant diet of brainless crap, like game shows, while the "news" media tells us what the controllers want us to think. Most journalists are so brain-dead themselves, so lacking in understanding of what they are part of, that they, like most of the population, play a part in advancing an agenda they do not even know exists.
There are many electronic ways that this is done today, but one of the key methods is trauma-based mind control. This is where people are traumatised through sexual abuse, violence, being forced to witness and take part in human sacrifice rituals, and countless other horrors. Such experiences activate the mechanism in the mind which shuts out memories of extreme trauma.
One expression of this, which many people have experienced, is when they cannot recall the memory of a bad car crash. They can remember before and after,but not the impact. The mind puts an amnesic barrier around the memory so we do not have to keep re-living it. This is a good thing, but the Illuminati have developed methods of using this technique to traumatise a mind over and over until it fragments into a honeycomb of disconnected amnesic barriers. They then
program these different fragments of mind (altars as they call them) with different tasks. The tasks are pre-programmed to be activated with a "trigger" word, colour, sound, or whatever. Once the trigger is given that programming locks in and the person will do whatever they have been programmed to do.
This can be to have sex with a famous politician, which they will not remember; to assassinate someone like John Lennon; to go crazy with a gun in a school, which leads to gun control etc. The concentration camps of Nazi Germany under the supervision of the "Angel of Death", Josef Mengele, were one of the major centres for such experimentation. Mengele was taken to the United States and South America after the war by the Illuminati under the name Doctor Green or Greenbaum to continue his horrific "work". This manifested as the notorious mind-control project, MK Ultra. The China Lake Naval Weapons Center in the California desert was one of his premier bases of operation.
The most effective time to start this process of creating human robots is before the age of five or six. Hence you have the colossal child abuse networks and the Satanic ritual abuse of children exposed on this site and in mybooks.
Partly these rituals and abuse networks are to do with traumatising people, especially children, but it is far more than just that. Follow the Illuminati-reptilian bloodlines from the ancient world to now and they have ALWAYS taken part in human sacrifice ceremonies and blood-drinking. The sacrifices to "the gods" in the ancient accounts were literally sacrifices to the reptilians and their hybrid bloodines. The story of the blood-drinking Dracula is symbolic of these reptilian "vampires". One of the locations of this reptilian group would appear to be the star-system known as Draco and"draconian" certainly sums up the Illuminati.
To hold their human form, these entities need to drink human (mammalian) blood and access the energy it contains to maintain their DNA codes in their "human" expression. If they don't, they manifest their reptilian codes and we would all see what they really look like. "Oh, my God, Mr. President, do you always eat your breakfast from across the room?".
From what I understand from former "insiders", the blood (energy) of babies and small children is the most effective for this, as are blond-haired, blue-eyed people. Hence these are the ones overwhelmingly used in sacrifice, as are red- haired people also, it appears.
This is why people like George Bush, Henry Kissinger, and a stream of the other Illuminati "big names" are exposed in my books and on this site as reptilian shape-shifters who take part in human sacrifice and blood drinking. The two go together. There also appears to be a very significant emphasis among the Illuminati-reptilians and their offshoots with paedophilia, which is rampant on this planet.

i don’t want this to sound sour. and it’s not intended as the overweight, overstuffed, Bud-slurping couch potato’s viewpoint on physical activity. i’m only slightly overweight, i’m not overstuffed, i seldom touch alcohol, i do a power walk every morning, have done yoga for decades, and have studied the alexander technique and various wisdom paths throughout my adult life.
i happily admit the Olympics™ have turned up some truly moving and inspiring personal achievements. BUT there’s something truly rotten in the state of Denmark, and i am very worried about the message it is sending out to young people (of any age!). a Truth needs to be voiced - for the good of everyone.
there are not, after all, that many of these Olympians, what, 0.01% of the population? you might maintain they’re special, but no way are they NORMAL! they’re actually a very small group indeed, many of whom were encouraged into it by the armed forces or rich parents, though, personally, i’d be more worried if my kid joined them than if he latched on to a street gang. the latter you can grow out of, but i once heard a famous tennis player sum the whole thing up when he related how the moment he “knew his career was over” occurred when he “woke up one morning and couldn’t get out of bed.” seriously, what kind of health is that?!
the history of the ‘Olympic Games’ disappears into the mists of the sixteenth century BEFORE christ, but we know that they were held every four years beside the holy mountain of Olympus, “home of the gods” (which should give shamanic scholars pause for thought). the other thing we know for sure is that the “Games” represented some kind of “religious, sacred ceremony.”. totally unconnected with Nike, Coke or CASH, the Games must have been designed to display (or test) spiritual development. “spiritual”? some kind of ‘superior’ harmony of gifts and skills, some all-round evolutionary level attained. and when i say test i doubt that it was a competitive test between individuals, more a “personal best” excellence. which suggests the one ancient truth we know goes back to the very beginning of wisdom, indeed was carved in stone above the door of every sacred temple: KNOW THYSELF. not KNOW your calf muscles. an ideal of Balance, of “a healthy mind in a healthy body.”
i’m afraid that, when a culture is sick, as ours today certainly is, every aspect will be found to be sick too.
i’ve already intimated that “spiritual” involves, not the separating of different functions in order to specialise in one or two in an unbalanced way (a fair description of the fundamental sickness in our present system), but rather a HARMONISING of different types and levels of skills to create some kind of Balanced Unity, Spiritual Wholeness. so what i see at the Olympics i can only call sick.

it’s certainly not “sport,” which my dictionary defines as “any outdoor activity engaged in for pleasure”. as for “Games”, the only sense of “play” i’ve seen has been when some unspoiled African came in hours behind all the other gladiators with a huge grin on his face. and everybody cheered at the tops of their voices - uncompetitively! just cheering on the human race, instead of a new world record by the width of the hair on an ant’s ass.. and, since a “good sport” is someone who “does not mind losing,” these soldier-athletes ain’t ‘sporty’..
one of the most disturbing aspects, though, certainly for this poor male, has been the sight of women LOOKING LIKE GUYS! - with bulging, rippling muscles, hard-angled faces full of an obsessive, focused ruthlessness. women, whose greatest contribution has to be that they never devolved to the body armouring of men, are holding their bodies so tight, chests pushed (proudly, militarily) upward, spine collapsed forwards, neck pulled strenuously, achingly back - check them out!
and yet, somehow, all these heavy meatsacks of muscle, blood, bone and sinew look simultaneously brittle, strained and stretched (daily! hourly!) out of their natural harmony till a single unplanned extra microgram will snap ‘em - and they do snap! all the time! every second sentence in the commentaries is about INJURIES - and they don’t mean banging your toe, they mean something twisting or spasming with stress. many retire forever at such points. for every champion who opens a string of designer sports centres there are thousands of ‘burned out battered meatoids’ in bars watching TV football and muttering how they ”coulda been a contender”.

Activists have been staying all over the city in hostels and rented apartments, and some took up the camping space in a stadium that the authorities sanctioned at the the personal behest of President and often-imprisoned-by-the-Communists bloke Vaclav Havel. Quite what sport is
played at the stadium is uclear, it's got no grass only rock. More like a gladiator arena really.
There were meetings at the Convergence Centre all day every day (and meetings about meetings about meetings), with a mass spokes council in the evenings, sometimes like a normal meeting and sometimes similarly organised to the Seattle protest. (people assemble in their groups, with one person at the front to be their speaker. The speakers all face each other in a circle. It makes things quicker and simpler.
There were a lot of UK activists, a lot of Spanish (especially Catalans), and many from USA, Germany, Holland, Greece, Italy and Poland and also some from Norway, Ireland, slovakia and Czech. Reuters reported that the bad weather was putting many activists off coming. The weather has been lightly overcast in the morning and sunny in the afternoon every day since Friday.

Many Czech activists supported what was going on, but were scared of reprisals from the police if they were sen to be involved. The police force is still to fully realise that the Velvet Revolution took place. There is an active Secret Police, and acitivsts are frequently harrassed and beaten.
The plan was that there would be a mass meetup on S26 at 10am in a square caled Namesti Miru, about 2km north of the Conference Centre where the WB/IMF were meeting. The IMF/WB would already be in the Centre, the plan was to block them in. The demonstration in Namesti Miru was approved by the authorities, but not any marches. As soon as people marched out of the
square it would become an illegal demonstration.
There would be three predominant colours of clothing and flags, pink, blue and yellow. The three colours would take different routes to the Centre.
However, the UK folks had turned up with a load of pink and silver stuff, but didn't want to be on the pink march (which was going to play it safe and be largely the international Socialists such as the Socialist Workers Party). So they decided to be a fourth route, and, unlike the other three, wouldn't have a predecided route plan.
There was a central communications place called Centrum. They would receive phone calls from people on the streets and relay the information to other sections of the marches and the autonomous groups roving the city. Centrum was to be in a secret location, with a similar set-up in a vehicle ready to take over should the police raid Centrum.
There were also CB radios and a pirate radio broadcast to help relay information (the pirates sadly never got up and running), so that if the mobile phone networks crashed then communications could still happen.
There were also cycle couriers for scouting areas ahead and around marhes, and also as medics. Cycles are unfollowable by police - they go down alleys that cars can't follow, and they are too fast for people on foot, and following on bike would be too conspicuous. I think that once we have our own cycle medics we are, by definition, rocking.
The total number of people is not reliably reported, but ssems to be between ten and fifteen thousand. marches went off, the blue west, the yellow south and the pink and silver south-east. The pink followed on and joined up with the yellow.
The yellow was largely composed of activists from Ya Basta, a full-on Italian group. They wear as much protective padding, helmets and gas masks as the riot cops. They can, and do, behave in the same fast and effective way at riot cops. When the police blocked their way, they repeatedly charged the lines, immune to batons, and actually took the batons off the police!
However the road, Legerova, was a four-lane bridge, so the police lines easily held. But the Yellow line was also easy to hold, and it blocked the main route north from the conference Centre, crucial to blocking the delegates in.
The blue route had gone west to the river, then south and were now coming back in towards the Centre along Vnislavova/Slavojova. The police put barricade fences in their way, which the marchers charged at and pulled back into *their* lines to make a barricade. The police charged, and were met with a hail of cobbles and other missiles. The police responded with loud
firework stun-grenades (nicknamed 'flashbangs') that have a powerful freak-out panic-causing effect. Several Molotov cocktails were thrown by the blues, and the police fired CS gas and water cannon. An old woman in a residential building on the street poured buckets of water on to the police, while at the back of the crowd an old local man passed cobble stones to the stone-throwers. The charges went back and forth for an hour or so.
Meanwhile the pink and silver march, led by their own very looud and groovy samba band had circled clockise round to the south east of the Centre on the main road south, Kvetna, and were 200m away before they met police lines. The road was occupied by armoured vehicles and water cannon, so they moved across to the smaller streets directly south of the Centre, after dploying the Tactical Frivolity squad to go and dance by the police and dust them with feather dusters.
The march pushed up to the police lines, the police batoned those at the front and threw stun grenades, the march retreated then returned and some missiles were thrown. The police water-cannoned. The water cannon was not as powerful as it is elsewhere.
This now meant that the Conference Centre was encircled at a distance of 200-500m.
By this time the blue march had retreated to their barricade, and they had a surplus of people needed to hold it. Half of them went south and round to join up with the pink and silver. The eastern side of Kvetna later gort extra numbers from some of the pink Socialist march who weren't needed at the back of the Yellows.
There was some back-and-forthing for the rest of the afternoon, but basically these positions held. They were clearly in sight of the delegates in the Centre - many of whom will have been at the previous WB/IMF/WTO meetings that have had this reaction.
There were some police with minor injuries, and many protesters with minor injuries. One protester was seriously hurt in a police baton charge, getting a head wound and a broken arm. like many she was grabbed by police and taken tom hospital against her will. This particular woman rang friends who came and took her to a safe house and gave her attention from a qualified nurse. Like I said, when we do this stuff we are rocking.
The social event for delegates at the National Opera was due to start at 6pm, but this was cancelled and delegates were ordered not to leave the Centre. Some Blue group had found a way to the railway running under the bridge that the Yellow group were blockading. This led them to the walls of the Centre, which they started to climb. A number of activists - thought to be in double figures - made it into the Centre complex itself. A few windows were broken, others spoke to delegates.
Because the roads were closed, the Metro (underground train) station in the Centre complex was starting to be used to ferry delegates out. Activsts went to the stations either side and the line was shut down. Eventually, a group of ambulances were used to ferry delegates out. I mean, not even the armoured personnel carriers, but hiding behind a Red Cross! This is so unbelievable cynical! Of course, all protesters cleared the road because they might have actually been carrying sick people, and the chance couldn't be taken.
As it got dark people dispersed. In the city centre several hundred people went to the Opera house until there was confirmation that the delegates event was cancelled. In Wenceslas Square a number of the protesters joined a large group of Czechs who systematically trashed McDonald's, KFC and banks. Other smaller and local businesses were largely untouched.
Over the day there had been dozens of arrests, but in the evening the police came in in force and the total went quickly up into the hundreds. Figures released this afternoon by Czech police say 859 arrests in total over the two days. Of these 230 were foreign and 629 were Czech. 130 of the foreigners have been deported. They also say that a female Spanish activist got a broken spine and a broken femur when she jumped from a first floor window while being interrogated. (Anyone else seen Dario Fo's 'Accidental Death Of An Anarchist'?).
Some acivists have been released and report hauge human rights abuses. They were kicked whenever they fell asleep, they were given no food whatsoever, some were beaten by gangs of police, including some people being tied up first. some have broken fingers, some have chipped teeth. They have been held in cells 4m square with over 20 people in. They have been refused legal advice. All of these things contravene basic human rights and have no place in a supposedly civilised country. This isn't 1970s Czechoslovakia, this is 2000 in the country that's next in line to join the EU. none of this is reported over here, and I bet it's not being reported where you are either.
The Czech media have focussed on police injuries. A policeman with a broken nose is the image we've seen again and again. Of course we can assume they'll be going for the most dramatic and brutal image they can find, and a broken nose is the worst they've got. Activists with that level of injury didn't even go to hospital. Always bear that in mind when you see figures for police injuries and protester injuries. And yet the protester injuries are invariably greater. Yet the protesters are criticised for violence. It was the police who came armed and armoured, the police who dealt the first blows, the police who inflicted the real injuries. Oh, and the gang of 50 fascists who briefly pelted a march with stones got no mention either.
The WB/IMF cancelled today's meetings saying it was nothing to do with the protests, honest guv, it was just that they had nothi9ng more to talk about. Like ten thousand fianciers charged with releiving global poverty and inequality and securing a global free-trade system have nothing to talk about.
Today there have been numerous demonstrations in support of those detained, resulting in at least 30 more arrests.
This email's gone on a long time already, and I've not really discussed any issues. I just want to know a true story and some real hard facts are going out there.

Come Unity has been going for nearly a decade on the first wednesday of the month. and i’ve arranged my life so i can attend. when i work for others i always negotiate the first thursday of each month off. this is my "church." these dancers are my brothers and sisters. i have shared some awesome community experiences with them and the Come Unity crew.
a few months ago, when security measures at the regular venue, the 1015, became draconian, the party began to die. at one horrible low point even i left around 3 because the vibe had vanished. even worse, CU is malachy's only source of income. he was paralyzed in a motor accident returning from a full moon. he comes to most parties in his wheel chair. so not only was this experience i valued in danger, but my friend was in a financial crisis. we are a family. we were all worried.
so last night was the big test: could the special vibe of CU be reborn in a new setting? i tell you i dreaded going because i didn't want to deal with the possibility it wasn't going to work.
well, praise the gods, last night's party saw my family back together again!!! the house was packed with househeads. malachy going from room to room welcoming everyone home. and from dj garth's set to jeno's smoldering encore at 5am the house indeed did rock forth. i mean, for many many minutes (and as you dancers know this is a precious experience) i was completely one
with the music and the lovely people around me - as good for sure as the best sex or "mystical" experience i've ever had. this is why, as a kinda ‘weird old raver’, i continue to dance:) and that’s why this culture is special to me. this raving, this dancing, is the authentic primeval experience of ecstasy, a tribal mind/heart fuck, if u will.
finally, i'm a person, believe it or not, who by nature sees the cup as half empty:( but even i am feeling encouraged and optimistic about some of the stuff happening in our scene lately. i believe our community will not die. it is reforming. we are building something that will take the best of our past and combine it with new energy and creativity. when this first raised its head last November I stood at the WARP EXPERIENCE week after week trying to inform people that the U.N was putting presser on the E.U to tighten up its hemp/cannabis laws, but, as you know yourself Fraser, IT’S NOT EASY WAKING PEOPLE UP TO SOME OF THE FACTS THAT AFFECT THEM! with subsidised hemp and flax growing in Europe now terminated, it’s down to the independents using all of the crop rather than farmers chasing subsidies. but independent hemp growers in Europe are very thin on the ground.

I don't remember the exact words or actions of the next few seconds. I heard "Arrest her," and then I felt left alone, like I could have run. Looking back, the only way I could have escaped the melee of cops was the way that I‘d come and, if I’d turned at that moment, I would have seen the almost instantaneously appearing wall of bicycled cops barring the street behind me.
The term, "Fuck you," has not fared me well. It’s a terrible term I picked up from my born and bred New Yorker ex-husband. I said it to my sister once, meaning it lightly, a "What on earth do you mean?" in the Queen's English. It caused her to not speak to me for three days, having pronounced me a moron. Her treatment worked, and I’ve rarely used the term since. Until that day in Philadelphia at “the green riot” when this moronic mouth unleashed it to a pissed-off cop.
"I'm going home" was probably my first thought. My second was interest in the process. And my third was "Oh god, no!" And then began the sado-masochistic process of being a non-violent protester in the United States of America. Me, clearly a masochist for having allowed myself to get into a position against the cops; them, paid thugs who seemed trained to enjoy the cruelty.
One suited official smiled at me as I yelled as both my arms were forced behind me to the point of agony and held there. "If you stopped yelling” he said with seemingly pure Nazi pleasure playing across his small, mean lips, “they'd stop hurting you so much" Oh, such pure idiocy.

SEPT 8,9,10 - Free the Spirit 2000 Festival
As you probably know, this year's event is our first to be granted a licence after eight years of fighting for the right to hold free events - free to get in, free of unnecessary policing costs, free of land hire costs, free of high priced grub, free of bad attitudes, free of extortionate licensing fees - free of money grabbing in general. The problem has always been that they refused to cut a licence to fit our culture, and we REFUSE to cut the culture to fit a licence, so something had to give - and something did.
Andrew Howland, grandson of our local aristocrat the Duke of Bedford, agreed to set aside land for free community use in return for an end to our use of certain sections of 'his' land for community dances. This was a big hurdle to get over, and it now sets a powerful and sensible precedent for other sites throughout the whole country.
Then the police, instead of making the usual demands for huge fees finally accepted that we can police our own space far more effectively than they ever could, and that they are not needed on site. This was only possible in light of our unarguable track record of eight years of trouble-free events, and it meant that another major cash-based hurdle was cleared, so when the licensing authority virtually waived their fees as well, we could see light at the end of a long dark tunnel.
SO WHAT'S THE PROBLEM?
FIVE REGIONAL Free the Spirit FestivalS - all at the same time - in AUGUST 2001.
THINK ABOUT IT. IF WE DON'T DO THIS, THE FREE THE SPIRIT FESTIVAL WILL

A certain amount of mythology has now accreted around their motivations for doing this, including the tale that Larry had become so tired of moping over a lover who had jilted him that he thought a new, less doleful version of himself might arise from the ashes of his own effigy.
He now disavows this version of its origins, but what does he know beyond mere facts? Ritual events require creation myths, so I tend to prefer the tale. Still, given the spontaneity of everything that followed, there is also something appealing about his account, which is that they did it for the sheer hell of it. "Hey, Jerry," he's reputed to have said one evening, "Let's build a statue and burn it.”
In any case, as soon as they set their "Man" ablaze, about 20 miscellaneous folk gathered around it from the surroundings. The fire that drew them became a seed that grew in size and attractive energy until, by last year, the Burning Man had become an 80 foot tall marvel of neon, pyrotechnics, and electronics, around which had gathered a "culture" numbering something like 30,000 of the most dedicatedly crazy people I've ever seen. (And I'm something of an authority in this regard. I've been to Wigstock, two tractor-pulls, countless raves, and even a couple of Republican National Conventions.)
Along the way, Burning Man was also supported by and lent support to The Cacophony Society, a loose collective of such loons as were once drawn to San Francisco before The City was completely occupied by humorless young Genericans whose idea of wild craziness is acquiring toxic levels of dotWealth before they turn 35, suffering grid-lock in their Porsche Boxsters, and pretending to be mysterious whilst sipping Evian in martini and cigar bars.
The Cacophony Society was itself a semi-domesticated outgrowth of The San Francisco Suicide Club, a fraternity into which one gains full membership by ascending the four great heights of San Francisco: the Sutro Tower, the TransAmerica Building, and one of the support towers for both the Bay and Golden Gate Bridges.
Though somewhat tamer and less necessarily clandestine than its progenitor, The Cacophony Society remains dedicated to the principles that real art is action not artifact, and that one can measure the success of one's works by the extent to which they irritate Authority and supplant complacency with an uneasy confusion in the rest of us.
Larry, Jerry, and the early Cacophonists continued to burn their growing man on Baker Beach until 1990 when they arrived there with 4 storey tall effigy and a small mob of randomly gathered free spirits, only to be told by SF Park Police that they would not be allowed to set their Big Bad Boy ablaze. Apparently, they were informed, such pyromanical activity would present a fire hazard to the surrounding area, which, consisting entirely of damp sand, lacked incendiary qualities identifiable to anyone but those driven into that paranoia from which all bureaucracies suck the blood of their dim lives.
Clearly, if they were to go on Burning the Man, they'd have find a less contentious venue. And, more to the point, they'd have to spend more time developing a new self-regulatory social system that could co-exist with the established order without "scaring the horses."
So, like Brigham Young and my hand-cart pushing forebears, they sought a location of such worthlessness (not to mention uncontested anti-flammability) that they could be reasonably assured of an unmolested ritual.
Neither myth nor the founder's own account suffices to explain how they found for this purpose the second largest perfectly flat place in America (after the Bonneville Salt Flats), a 400 square mile dry lake bed about 90 miles north of Reno called the Black Rock Desert.
It was there, on the Sunday of Labor Day Weekend, 1990, that Burning Man - the social experiment - truly emerged. They reassembled The Man, hauled it to Nevada, and burned it in the presence of about 80 people (considerably fewer than those who'd gathered on Baker Beach
six months before in order to see it not burn).
To quote one of the original 80, Louis Brill:
"Did we know what we were doing? Probably not. Did we care? Yeah! We knew that whatever we were doing, it would be different. If only for that weekend, we were going to put some meaning into a special experience, recreating an ancient pagan ritual that was actually thousands of years old. In Cacophony, we called these adventures a 'Zone Trip.' The Zone was some other dimensional place, it could be the past, the future, something weird, it didn't matter. We were going there, and we would challenge it and be better for it.
"It was that damn statue working its magic on us. First we followed it to the beach and now to the desert playa in the middle of nowhere. The truck was loaded, and its back door slammed shut. People scurried to their cars - it was time to get out of Dodge. We formed a loose caravan and drove from San Francisco endlessly into the night. Never having done this before. It was a miracle that we even got there, but we did."
But they arrived, and arrived, I would guess, without attracting much notice even among the residents to Gerlach, Nevada, the nearest population center larger than, say, one hermit and 16 jack rabbits.
Not much has ever happened in Gerlach, aside from those intimately personal explosions of the moment that most city-slickers can't imagine taking place in the sticks and likely wouldn't notice even if they happened to be present for them. But then came Burning Man. And Burning Man, like the Internet (to which it has some orthogonal relationship) has been expanding exponentially ever since. It has grown from 250 people in 1991 to something like 35,000 last year. I wouldn't be surprised to see 60,000 show up for BM2000.

I was introduced to the man, Stephen Requa, who makes the above claim in the hope I might be able to offer some editing advice on a book he’d written about the experience. One look was enough to make me realise that, with so many American public figures ‘named, blamed and shamed’, it could only ever be published underground! And untraceably!
Whew, what an End-Game we’re living in, eh? I have met a lotta types in my time, but never anyone quite like Steve. When I first investigated his story, I was in the middle of my own four year court case against the disgusting ex-partners in Megatripolis who had totally ripped me off and tried to destroy my reputation to cover their tracks. So I was only too able to identify with just how difficult such a situation can be. The criminals, after all, now have all the money, while you’re out on the street with a burning sense of injustice and zilch in your pocket, hoping people will listen to you.

Internet make it possible for musicians to fund their own recordings, own
their own copyrights, distribute their own music and control their own

middle men will be cut down to size
MEET THE THE NEW BOSS
Obviously the sales potential of TheThe is not in the same league as the
Limp Bizkits, Offspring and N-Syncs of this world, yet each label has (or
had) a dozen artists like TheThe, each with a solid and loyal fanatic
audience, each selling many CDs, and each serving as a creative beacon
attracting other artists, some of whom go on to sell millions of albums of
their own.
Once these artists made sense to the shareholders. No longer The range and
diversity of the music being created and performed has never been wider, but
its outlets have never been more restrictive.
In the blue corner: the threat (real and perceived) of MP3/Napster, digital
piracy and the subsequent debates about copyright laws and intellectual
property rights. Deep in the red corner: the rampant corporate greed of the
media conglomerates, major labels and radio stations which is marginalising
more and more artists by the week, and forcing them to look at alternative
ways of distributing their music
All the above events are converging and have placed us on the threshold of a
total watershed in the music business.

Vivendi have just swallowed Seagrams who took over PolyGram and merged it
with Universal who had bought Interscope who control Nothing Records (home
to Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson and TheThe) In order to get the green
light for the Universal/PolyGram merger, Seagrams promised their
shareholders a return based on cutting out the less (though still)
profitable parts, while not investing for future profits as traditional
companies are supposed to do.
Two thirds of the huge artist stable raped from three established major
labels has to go, reducing it to a trim, wealthy machine made of just the
plump ripe sellers. Millions (no longer hundreds of thousands) of sales
will now cover the increasing overheads at these labels, overheads increased
through ludicrous executive bonus payouts, inflated expense accounts and the
quest for the Porsche. The artist is put to work harder and faster to feed
the machine.
VivendiUniversalSonyAOLTimeEmiWarnerBMG, all represent a basket of share
dividends to holders who are quick to move on when the take is slow. Oasis
Brand may be less appealing than Heinz Beans right now
After a 7 year lay off I recently released NakedSelf, an album that is
generally considered one of my best, to some of the best reviews I've ever
had (check the website). I've also been on tour since November 1999,
selling out shows by word of mouth across Europe and America to fantastic
audience response. Yet, with their utter dependence on the radio, the
reaction from Interscope/Universal has been destructive and negative in the
extreme. The good ship TheThe is abandoned as soon as the fear of no-play
takes hold.
Why should they think of an alternative when they can can swiftly move on to the next act on the plank (step forward Beck, whoops! step forward Nine Inch Nails..oh dear, No Doubt..Ouch! Chris Cornell....?) One act after another has fallen into the ocean. The lights are on but nobody's home, like the Marie Celeste.
THERE'S NO POINT IN ASKING, YOU GET NO REPLY
The Seagrams takeover and subsequent merger of Universal and PolyGram was very traumatic, not only for many artists on the label but also for many of the employees, often hard working people who entered the business for all the right reasons. Though most are afraid to admit it publicly, morale is now very, very low in the Music Biz (at least 6 people I've worked closely with on my album have walked out on the company, and I know of several more who are planning to follow soon)
THE REAL QUESTION
SOMETHING FOR NOTHING
Universal/Interscope's incapability or unwillingness (or both) to distribute and promote my album properly, and their refusal to give it back to me, have forced me to consider alternative ways of reaching my audience.
By making NakedSelf freely available to download, I hope more people (including the bulk of my regular audience) will finally get the chance to hear it, and so hopefully support me by purchasing it, and future releases.
Ironically, I've been widely quoted in recent months regarding my opposition to Napster. Musicians and songwriters, as with other professions, have dedicated their lives to their art and craft, but now face a situation where people are stealing their work and passing it around the world for free. No one who’s done a hard day’s work for a day’s pay would expect others to work for free, why should musicians?
But, on the other hand, the general public just wouldn't believe how unfair most record company contracts really are. Most artists with more than a couple of years experience now grimly accept that the industry's run on principles of institutionalised corruption. The artist pays for everything, yet owns nothing, and, merely to receive accurate royalties, must send in a team of auditors every few years - at massive cost. The record company position is: if you want your money, come find it. If you can afford to look for it, you’ve obviously earned us so much we can afford to let you have somee.

America, after doggedly but hopelessly resisting the rave wave for almost a decade, is finally going through its own Rave Summer of Love. And, like Britain, all social classes are involved.
ADVANCING FROM BOTH COASTS INTO THE VERY BELLY OF THE DINOSAUR CULTURE
"Ecstasy is sweeping through our society" says Gary Murray of the recently established Customs Ecstasy Task Force. "When it was crack you could say 'These people are doing it here, and these people aren't.' You can't do that with Ecstasy now. Everybody's doing it!" Like any cultural meme, the trend has spread from the large coastal raves where it's been slowly growing since its arrival from Britain in the early '90s, and has now become a national urban and suburban phenomenon. Although E-taking remains somewhat split from raving itself, which is also expanding massively, and though the average American is still more likely to get into rave music long before he even discovers there are such things as raves, that's the effect of American capitalism's rigid segmentation of 'markets' which is now seriously breaking down.
"Whereas the UK thing was a simultaneous double-revelation - of getting into the drug and the music, and the interaction between them, the opposite is now true in the USA" says Simon Reynolds, author of Generation Ecstasy. The range of fave drugs are ecstasy, acid, ketamine, guarana and GHB. Showing how deeply influenced by British Rave Culture the whole scene is, e-tablets come in the form of doves, yin yan symbols, some with the Nike symbol or Buddhas on them. DEA estimates of 2 million e-tabs entering the country each week carefully ignores the equally large quantities of home-made product.
Recently, Salvatore "Sammy the Bull" Gravano, former hit man for New York underworld boss John Gotti, was charged in Arizona with financing a ring that sold 25,000 caps a week, and New York police simultaneously arrested a gang of Israelis who were selling 10,000 hits a week there.

Needless to say, the media is selling all the papers it can sell with the usual "DRUG PANIC"s aimed at America's ex-hippy parents. "The media, which is our parents, are terrified because they don't understand it, but the fact is you can get drugs everywhere" said Justin, a 19 year old 'veteran' in a downtown Albuquerque warehouse rave this month.
VOTING WITH THEIR FEET!
Raves are now held regularly in every biggish town in every state across the USA. Some are like the vast "acid house parties" in fields of the UK Rave Scene in the late '80s. One sure sign of the young culture's vitality and spread is that early 'veterans' are now being quoted reminiscing of "the good old days" when raving was still a secret scene. "Raves used to be underground and illegal, but now it's been spoiled by a lot more business people getting involved" said Amanda, 17, from Los Alamos.
Amanda can't be expected to realise yet, of course, that Rave Culture is changing the world in the most positive way imaginable and I, for one, have been predicting since the '80s that its coming dominance is probably the most promising mass movement for change on the entire planet.
Even rappers (thank goddess!) are starting to surrender their resistance to the drug and the rave scene, just as happened in the UK and Europe some years ago. "If it's good, I'll take six in an evening" a 44 year old movie executive confesses to this month's New York Magazine.
Warned for years by rave activists but finally caught off guard, the authorities of the old Police State are quickly raising penalties. At rave parties public information organisations test drugs for adulteration and warn of dangerous brands. "We're at the point now with ecstasy that we were with cocaine in the Seventies" says New York senator Roy Goodman, "It's being passed out like mints by people who have no idea of its side effects".
While that is partly true (though millions have now been consuming such drugs for years) do we understand Prozac and the vast majority of legalised drugs any better? And are the official, legally approved anti-depressants, sold for such gigantic profits by the medical establishment, as safe or effective as Ecstasy? And do they simply stupefy the consumer, rather than opening his eyes to the world around him and giving him some inspiration to do something about it?
Obviously, after spending millions of your tax monies, governments are being faced with this fact: the people will make their own decisions.

LOOKING FOR THE FRONT LINE?
I get around 500 emails a week at the Parallel YOUniversity’s site. An increasing number are requests to add a particular campaign or issue to the //YOU UPGRADE of news and views which we’broadcast’ weekly on our HipList. The UPGRADE is usually around the length of this article, people read it in ten minutes and take whatever action they think appropriate. If we “broadcasted” all these campaigns, the UPGRADE would be 20 pages long - and boring.
So my question is this: “In a world increasingly accelerating and interconnecting, how do we discriminate between central issues which lead to lesser issues being dealt with down the line, and peripheral issues which leave the structure unchanged?”
THIS WAY TO SAVING THE WORLD
ARE YOU ‘browsing’ the global spiritual/political marketplace, knowing there’s some kind of Great Breakthrough going on, and looking for the Front Line? Do you constantly find yourself being bombarded by appeals to join campaigns, posses and movements without knowing which has the greatest claim to your increasingly limited time/energy?
We all sense that some kind of End Game has begun between the Second and the Third Millennia. But, amidst the flash and commotion, and so many bushfires, how is a well-meaning soul to find their way to the true Front Line?
A clue lies in a recent, amazing on-line phenomenon which practically swamped our e-switchboard and, so far as I can trace it, most of the ‘alternative modems’ in Britain. It was the SAVE THE BRAZILIAN RAINFOREST campaign. The chain had started in Brazil, then made its way to Wales, and had then hit London and gone Big Time. I’ll come back to the reason why Britain appears to have played such a big part, as opposed to the USA.
Now, I see this cauldron of ‘movements’, often about localised or specialised ‘good causes,’ as benign cultural viruses. But the colossal number of forwarded copies of this one demonstrated clearly that it had fired up just about everybody - or scared them shitless. An indisputably Front Line issue!
It said, amongst other things: “The Brazilian Congress is now voting on a project that will reduce the Amazon forest to 50% of its present size, be mainly used for agriculture and pastures for livestock... All the wood is will be sold in the form of woodchips, by multinational companies..
160.000 square kilometersalready deforested with the same purpose are abandoned and in the process of becoming deserts. We cannot let this happen!”
SAVE THE WORLD IF YOU WANT BUT DON’T INVADE MY SPACE
Let’s return to the fact that this benevolent email virus jumped straight from Brazil (local) to Britain (global). In 1995, while I was based in San Francisco during the Zippy Tour To US, I witnessed the birth of the internet community, and observed a growing “netiquette” which jealously protected its citizens from the uninvited intrusions of others - “spamming ” (sending copies to hundreds of people).was rude, tabu.
Returning, however, to the capital of Rave Culture (London), I soon realised that this won’t be Europe’s way. Americans are pathologically fixated on their beloved ‘individualism’. Here we emphasise ‘community’. That’s why Rave Culture was born and is and will always be way ahead here. :-)
So I started blasting out our HipList early on, and now it is seen as a popular medium through which to ‘broadcast’ to 12,000 carefully selected/recommended hipsters.
So I started blasting out our HipList early on, and over this past year so many British outfits seem to have come to the same conclusion that they now forward us their campaigns and club announcements in the hope that we’ll ‘publish’ or ‘broadcast’ them to our 12,000 carefully selected/recommended hipsters. This is Europe’s way, we try to affect each other, which is why the RAINFOREST campaign really took off here.
PRIORITISING MEANS NEVER HAVING TO SAY YOU’RE PERIPHERAL
This week alone I’ve rejected campaigns against petrol tax, for Women’s’ Rights in Afghanistan, against the Turkey Dam, for several persecuted religious minorities, and against the barring of the Dalai Lama from the UN World Religions Conference where he was seen as a potential embarrassment to China (this could be my next one).
But the BRAZILIAN RAINFOREST campaign mushroomed into the most popular campaign this far in, and felt historical in some way. Therefore I was not surprised (but fabulously delighted) when word reached us that the campaign had worked! Here’s what I emailed out that very night:
“Following a flood of email and faxed protests, President Henrique Cardoso and other leaders have pledged to veto the draft law which would have reduced the ‘Reserve Area’ of the Amazon rainforest from 80 to 50 percent of its present total. Faced with the threat of a presidential veto and widespread opposition from environmentalists, the proposed change was killed before it could come to the House floor.
This marks the first time the Brazilian environmental movement has prevailed over the ranchers' and large landowners' congressional caucus.
So, your planet thanks you for your help!!!! :-) Onwards to help the Living Planet Goddess in so many other ways!!!
It was a Front Line Victory over the Old Order which may eventually be looked on as a truly historic breakthrough, the first victory of an ultimate form of peoplepower. Clinton’s former spin doctor Bill Morris predicts that this kind of “direct democracy” is replacing the present (and failing) “representative democracy” . The BBC News this week described Tony Blair as having received 200,000 email demands to ‘act’ on World Debt.
There’s a Huge Change going on all around us. In one sense the Front Line is extending itself to our fingertips so that more and more of us can become digital participants without going anywhere near a polling booth or a demo. In another sense, as individual souls, may intelligence love, discrimination and listening to others save us from the periphery.

DO NOT ask to be deleted by mass spam operations as we advised last week. Most mass-mailer bots/scripts use any response you give as verification of an active address. Thus, any kind of response may result in your e-mail being passed on as a PROVEN active address, thus resulting in even more spam!
The best way to deal with it is to press the ‘bin-it' button and forget about it :) Takes 2.5 nanosecs.
If the spam gets too much, visit the site the spam is advertising and try and locate the web-masters e-mail, then try the nice approach before reporting the site to the relevant authorities.
The threatening approach we recommended is counter-indicated as the people who run these ‘evil’ schemes generally know a hell of a lot more about the net and ways to screw up peoples’ accounts and will punch back twice as hard!!!! You have been warned :)
